EMDS corrosion log 4

To identify technical condition of 3.5” tubing, 7.00” & 9 5/8” casing the EMDS log was conducted in this well. The log result showed: 9 5/8” casing has large zones of extensive/moderate/minor corrosion extending into formation of a few holes.

The shape of the temperature curve gives a clear indication of an upward cross flow (upper and lower positive anomalies and straight line between them). The gamma ray curve also indicated a higher reading across corroded interval probably related to scale accumulation.
